Public Venues for Open Events
Grooviq-hosted nights and community Open Tables always meet at public venues — enforced when every event is created. Private tables are invite-only, unlisted, and share their location only with invited guests.
Verified Members
Every member joins with an account and provides a phone number at signup. Grooviq is 18+ with age verification enforced.
Group Safety
Our small group format (4-6 people) creates natural safety through numbers while maintaining intimacy for meaningful connections.
Community Monitoring
Clear community guidelines, AI-assisted moderation, and in-app reporting and blocking keep interactions respectful. Violating our guidelines means removal from the platform.

- Trust your instincts about people and situations
At the table
Break these and you're removed from the platform.
Be Respectful
Treat all members with kindness, respect, and consideration. We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.
Be Genuine
Show up as yourself. Pretending to be someone you're not — or misrepresenting who is coming — breaks the trust the table runs on, and will result in account suspension.
Keep it Friendly
Grooviq is for friendship only. Any romantic or sexual advances are inappropriate and will result in immediate removal from the platform.
Show Up
If you commit to attending a meetup, please honor that commitment. Frequent no-shows affect the entire group experience.

You can always leave
No notice, no excuse, no penalty. Trust your instincts and go — then tell us, and we'll handle the rest.
